Jul 25, 2010 First truly production run
We are happy to inform that the system is now crunching the first truly production run performed by geneticists directly from our submission web site without any assistance. See the scientific updates in the forums. The run is about 60,000 WUs, each about 1 hour.

May 15, 2010 DB problem and work restart
There was a major DB problem experienced recently, so all the work had to be removed. It will be restarted anew in the nearest future. Apologies for the incovenience it may have caused. .

May 1, 2010 Superlink@Technion back to life
We are finally back online. The system is fully operational and now allows direct submission of genetic linkage analysis tasks from the Internet. Hope we will keep it alive from now on. Thanks for the support. .

System Requirements
  • RAM: 1GB of RAM is suggested, as the computation typically requires up to 450MB of memory.
  • Disk space: insignificant.
  • Supported platforms: Windows (Vista/XP/2000/NT/Longhorn), Linux (Intel/PowerPC, 32/64 bits) and MacOS (PowerPC and Intel).
  • BOINC client version: 5.8.x and higher is most preferable
